You Don’t Look 5’11″

Yesterday, I was chatting online with a new prospective date, BC-40.? She’s 40 years old, 5’5″ with green eyes.? We had a chance to talk online, and then on the telephone.? The conversation was a broken up by her attempting to chat with other people on messenger.? This continued for the 15 minutes we spent on the telephone.? Later, she asked me if I still wanted to meet her, since i saw her pictures on Myspace.? I wasn’t sure what that meant, but sure I’m always open to meeting new people.? Well, we decided she would stop by my

couple place on the way home from work.? She decided to leave work early and come by.? The first thing she said when she looked at me was, “you don’t look 5’11″.? Was this a deal breaker?? My first reaction was laughter.? Since I’m a former athlete, I’ve been measured, poked, prodded, and every other medical check up that you can imagine.? It wouldn’t matter if OJ Simpson jumped out the bushes, I’d still be 5’11.? BC-45 came in?sat on the sofa and we began to chat.? She recently came out of a long distance relationship.? The relationship left her feeling alone and empty, so she would go out with her friends.? If she had a few drinks and with the right opportunity, cheat.? Originally, it was because she felt that he was doing the same thing.? Now looking back?she has?guilt, because she believes he was faithful.?? But the interesting thing is, she has a March 2nd deadline from another man.? She is deciding on whether to date him or not.? So what is she doing on a dating website?? BC-40 says, she’s looking to see if there’s anything else out there.? I almost fell out of my chair!? If?a man ?told a woman that, she would SLAP?his?face hard enough to make him retarded.? Well, it after 15 minutes, she was gone.?

I was happy.

Is this what dating has turned into now?? Is it all?about weighing our options?? I would think, the woman of my dreams will love me for all my great qualities.? The fact that her lack of?ability to measure height might also factor into her dress size ( a bit too round for me), or the ability to? commit to one relationship at a time.

Personally, I never?ever viewed her as dating material.? I did view her as someone who could possibly be ‘fun’.? If I’m going to date a older woman, I would prefer them to have more direction in their personal life and physically fit.

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough when I’m not interested in someone.? But I guess, when a man doesn’t take a woman out in public could be a clue, he doesn’t find you physically attractive.
