Black History Month
It’s the last day of February, and it’s leap year! So, we get a extra day to celebrate black history month. Black history month means different things for different people. To some it means a tribute to civil rights leaders that inspired change in the 1960’s and 1970’s.

Others, it means having the chance to have equal rights for education, employment, or even social issues. For me, it means I can associate with people of my choice, it means I can date women out of my race, it means I can live anywhere I can afford to live. It also means, the women I’m attracted to can display their affection towards me in public. I grew up hearing stories about black men not being able to make eye contact with a white woman in certain parts of the country. I’m sure you’ve read similar things also. So in honor of black history month, I wrote this on the last for all the people who realize interracial relationships would not me main stream without all those inspired for change.
