In the past I’ve always known relationships don’t last forever.  Some last longer than we want, and some don’t last long enough.  At times it’s difficult for everyone to deal with letting go.  You may notice that I haven’t written about a couple women.  It’s because we’ve mutually decided to moved on.  The easiest way for me to move on is to tell them and send them something special.  I don’t send flowers or anything like that.  I have a unique way of saying good-bye.  I send a Message in a Bottle.  Yes, you heard right, Message in a Bottle.  Just like ordering flowers from my computer, but with a twist. 

I usually send a Amber bottle with the break up message-

If we must part
Then let’s part with gentle words
Words like
‘Thank you for the good times’
And
‘May God go with you’

For in so doing
We not only protect
The precious memories that we’ve shared
But we also leave the door open
Should our circumstances ever change

Since I started doing this, I feel so much better when I’m saying good-bye. 

TR37 and I had quite a few great memories together.  During our last phone conversation, she told me I seemed to be happy single.  It left me a bit confused, so i had to get her to explain it.  She didn’t feel as if we would ever become serious.  She fears investing more time, months or a year with me would end up as a let her down.  TR37 believes in instant magic.  Since I am skeptic of love at 1st sight, she was worried I would not want to have a long term relationship with her.  So I wish her the best in her search for love.

 Shayna42 and I only had a couple dates together.  I realized quickly, she wasn’t the type of woman who truly wanted to have a relationship.  She said all the right things, but her actions said something totally different.  I always notice inconsistency.  So I hope she finds what she’s looking for.

 SK31 and I had the most memories over the last few months.  Things with Sk31 escalated over the last few days we saw each other.  I always enjoyed her company, her companionship, and intimate times.  That was only part of what I want from a woman.  I noticed her financial problems increased and her ability to be self sufficient decreased.  The straw that broke the camel’s back was she wanted to argue over silly things.  I believe if you ask for help, accept it with out resistance.  The fact she wanted to argue over directions, was just the tip of the iceberg.  I’m sure it could have been worse.  After all that, I wish her the best.  I wish her love and happiness in her future relationships.

After sending all of these ladies Message in a Bottle, I received a gracious email from all of them.  They send best wishes to me also.
