I know what she wants

I had a great time Friday night. It was more than just who I spent the night with.? It was about the mood of the night. ?It’s been a few days since I saw DM49.? I know she’s wanted me to come over, but I’ve been keeping her at a distance.? It seems like she wants to spend more time with me.? I’ve remained unavailable at times, so that she won’t get emotionally attached.? So I decided to go over to her place to hang out.? She was well prepared for my arrival. ?She had purchased Grey Goose vodka, 2 bottles of wine, 1 bottle of Crown Royal, and some beer.? I’m not a big drinker, but she wanted me to have several choices.? Both of us were hungry, so we decided on going to the Italian Cafe in Las Colinas.? I’m really enjoying that place.? It’s a neighborhood hang out for a lot of people, PPL there’s a diverse crowd, and they have tables on the side walk.? It has a total European ambiance.? We both ordered 2 slices of pizza and drinks.? There’s plenty of people to watch in this place.? Lots of people with their kids, couples, singles, and foreigners.? Since the NCAA basketball tournament has started, everyone was watching the games on the plasma TVs.? We left to go back to her condo clubhouse. ?The lounge was empty, so we decided to play pool. ?We were drinking Apple Grey Goose Martinis and enjoying ourselves.? A few of her neighbors decided to join in.? This turned into a fun filled evening.? DM49 is almost 20 years older than her neighbors and everyone seemed to get along great.? It was during this time, I realized what DM49 is wanting.? DM49 is at a point in her life where she’s busy with her career.? She enjoys spending time with her mother, kids, and grandchildren.? She’s also dedicated?to her career and being a independent woman.? She’s not interested in being a relationship and giving up some of her freedoms. DM49 enjoys having a romantic interest that she can spend time with.? She enjoys having a dinner date, going out dancing, playing pool, or just staying in watching TV.? DM49 is a emotionally secure woman.? She jokes about her having reserved time with me for the evening.? This isn’t my first experience with a mid-40′s to late 40′s woman.? Most of them seem to have similar characteristics.? It appears they all realize that spending some time with someone special is better than having no one to spend time with.? None of them gave any indication of wanting to be co-inhabiting, engaged or married.? They all seem to be very comfortable with their life.? What is really comfortable for me under these circumstances, there’s no pressure.? Normally with younger women in their 30′s, there has to be some type of relationship direction.? Maybe they don’t have the self confidence to realize a relationship doesn’t define you in life.? I feel relationships develop because two people have the chance to enjoy being around each other without having the expectation of the end results.
