Why Not Just One
Saturday afternoon was a beautiful day! I decided to hang out with my good friend JJ34. She reads this site sometimes and of course has her own opinions. We decided to go have lunch at Campesi’s in Plano and then go shopping. We had lunch on the patio. We always catch up on friends and dating. She has a question that many of my readers probably have also. She thinks I could never have a serious relationship when I date several women at the same time. She says I can’t focus on one woman if I’m having sex with them so quickly. So I began to explain to her I have needs. All my needs are not sexual. I like to have someone to go to dinner with, movies, dancing, playing pool, shopping and etc.
When I find someone who can fill all these needs, I will stop dating all the other women. It seems very simple, but it’s harder to find someone to do all these things with as you get older. I will admit my views on sex is different from a lot of people. I can have earth shattering sex and not be emotionally involved with that woman. Yes, I love sex. I crave sex. I desire sex. Those desires are not directly connected with my emotional involvement with a woman. Since JJ34 was my shopping friend today, we decided to go to Grapevine Mills Mall. I needed to buy a new pair of jeans for my date later Saturday night. So we shopped at Steve & Barry’s. I couldn’t resist buying their funny t-shirts. We ended up arguing over how long it was taking JJ34 to buy shirts for our friends. I didn’t want to be late for my date. I had to drive across town to get my car, go home shower and come back across town by 5pm. So I rescheduled my date for 530 so I would be on time. That gave us extra time to get Dallas Mavericks shirts.
