PT35 Shocker

Monday night I decided to have grab a bite to eat and see PT35.? Once again, I arrived and the bar area was practically empty.? Of course, PT35?greeted me with a big smile.? I?love seeing her smile.? She seems to have a cheerful personality.? I’ve been excited about the upcoming date.? I have to be honest, I’ve thought about it several times and spoke to several close friends about it.?

I sat at the bar next to a familiar face.? There is a middle aged couple (50ish)?that normally comes in for dinner and a few drinks after work.? They have this routine for several years.? They are the nicest people and are always up for a interesting conversationshocked.? We ended up talking about the normal stuff like sports, kids, and politics.? Some how I asked PT35 how tall she was.? She’s only 5’5″ tall!? She always wears boots or heels.? That’s why I thought she was taller.? This started a conversation of height comparisons.? Well the guy next to me said, “when I see her in the grocery store with J, there’s a major difference in height.”? I didn’t know who J was.? So he leans over and tells me it’s her fiancee.? WTF!!?FIANCEE?? There must be some kind of mistake.? So then he says, “I’m sure you know him.. there’s no way you don’t”.? So I didn’t say much, I just smiled. I waited a few minutes for PT35 to come close to me.? I asked her if J was with her at the football game.? She smiled and said yes.? WTF!!!? At first I was shocked!? Then I was in disbelief.? I gave it some in-depth thought.? This is what I came up with.? She never introduced him as her boyfriend or fiancee.? He just stood there as she kissed me and hung all over me.? Of course, they might have a open relationship.? Or maybe their relationship has changed and they are no longer dating.? It is possible that ex’s still hang out and remain friends.? At this point I wasn’t sure what to believe.? I decided I was going to sleep on it and then get the full story from her before our date.

    What a drag. Don't sit around and come up with "what if's" about this situation. If it were over and they weren't together anymore, it seems she would have said so considering she was on DATE WITH YOU. I'm a pretty practical person and a realist and so my first thoughts are "looks like a duck, walks like a duck....must be an engaged duck"....period. Sure, it may be an open relationship, they may be swingers and she's warming you up or, and here's that realist in me, she may be a woman who cheats on her man, period. I would have been open for conversation about it, but that conversation should have happened that night and not another. I mean, why wait for the answer to a question that is a deal breaker? What was wrong with getting that very important question out of the way at that moment?
  • I agree with you. I'm just going to relax and wait to see how it plays out.
  • White, black, green...they all play games. I think she wants her cake and wants to eat it too. She may be too much for J to handle. It really depends how you feel about her as to what I'd suggest. Regardless, don't act jealous. That will be playing right into her hand. That's my .02.
