Normally I don’t revel in someone else’s failure’s, but I must say I read something this week that was a total surprise. I found out that one of my favorite Canadian singers is getting a divorce.
Yes, Shania Twain is divorcing her producer husband. I am more of a realist that a fantasy guy, but it some strange fantasy way I can add her back on my FFL list. I think she has become better looking with age. I have no idea what her soon to be ex-husband has done to piss her off. They always say, ‘One man’s trash is another man’s treasure’. Just call me Captain Jack Sparrow, I’ll take Shania’s treasure any day. Which brings me to another thought of the day. If you’re rich, what kind of problems do you really have with your relationship? I was listening to one of my favorite local radio talk shows Pugs and Kelly. I have to agree with them. If you’re rich, you have very little if any financial stress in your life. You can buy practically anything you want. You can travel any where you want to. All you have to do is get along with your mate and have sex. Let’s be honest. If you weren’t having great sex with them, why get married? So the fact is you have to be a real ass or bitch to not be able to get along. Maybe this is another idea from my fantasy world, but if you both are rich most of your life revolves around recreational activities. So what is there disagree about? Vacation? Dinner? Maybe there’s something I’m missing.
Post your comments, I’d like to hear your thoughts.

If you’re rich, enormously rich….say entertainer rich you have plenty to worry about. Someone has to keep the riches coming in, that person has quite a bit of stress in the form of their career. Then if you are their spouse or significant other you have the stress of dealing with the demands of their job as well. Travel (theirs or yours together) much of the time is one stress. Finances are another, even if you can’t see that. Just because one is rich doesn’t mean one spends money freely without a care or thought. The person who generates the income could be very tight with the purse strings. Family issues can create stress. And if you are both stars if you aren’t of equal star status that can create great friction in a relationship. Especially if the woman is the larger star.
Being a star and rich can create it’s own set of problems in the form of fans, groupies, etc.
The rich/very rich are simply people with the many of the same problems everyone has, just on a larger more public scale at times.

Some interesting points here. I’m not rich, so this is speculation, but from an attraction standpoint any married couple can end up hating each other no matter the finances. Why? Perhaps they were a poor match in the first place (common) or maybe the attraction when they got too comfortable around each other. Sounds weird since we’re talking about Shania, right, but here’s a saying I heard recently: “Show me a beautiful woman and I’ll show you a guy who’s tired of fucking her.”
My theory is that she’s a self-absorbed bitch and he’s a total douchebag, plus they both probably think they can do better.
