The Texas heat finally got to me yesterday.? KT35 invited me to go swimming.? I was pleasantly surprised and I accepted.??When I arrived at the?pool the?kids were?having fun.? KT35 was sitting?poolside reading a book and enjoying the weather.??We began to discuss the story line of her book, Change of Heart.? It’s a very interesting?idea, but of course that what fictional books are intended for.? After spending a couple hours at the pool, her kids asked her if I was going to have dinner with them.? I hope?I didn’t look surprised, but I was.?
I was surprised that her children embraced me so quickly.??This was only the second time I’ve been around?them.? So I ended up going over to KT35′s for dinner.? The evening was very entertaining.??While KT35?was cooking, the kids were entertaining me.? 
Even though the kids are close in age, they look like they could be twins.? I couldn’t tell them apart previously.? But now I can tell them apart easily.? They were showing me their soccer tricks, dog tricks, and even?singing.?? I spent plenty of time laughing.? When it came time to eat, the four of us?sat at the table.? We?were watching Disney Channel during dinner.? Of course, girls watch shows like Hannah Montana.? My?boys watch totally different shows.? This evening?gave me a real chance to get to know?KT35 on a different level.? It gave me?the opportunity to see her?in?every day life and not just on date night.? The funniest part of the night was the dog.? She has a Boston Terrier, who didn’t leave my side the entire night.? Even during dinner he sat next to my feet.? He sat by me on the sofa.? He even sat next to me while I ate ice cream in the kitchen.? I guess a dog is man’s best friend, or at least he was wanting to be my best friend. haha? I ended up going home around 1130pm.? We originally planned to?sit in the?hot tub after the kids went to bed, but they were drinking Red Bull or something.? They had no?intentions of going to bed before I left.? So I left with out a kiss or even any other type of PDA.? It’s just a normal sacrifice when kids are around.?
