Christina Applegate Cured
I’m totally shocked! It was almost 2 weeks ago when Christina Applegate made the announcement that she was diagnosed with breast cancer, aka my arch Nemesis. I know I reflected on her previous acting on like Married with Children. But I was once again surprised to hear her most recent announcement. She’s cancer free. She says 100% cancer free. Damn! That was quick or so it seems. My arch Nemesis has been defeated. I’m just thankful that she will have a new set of beautiful breasts.
This brings me to ask a few questions. Did she do chemotherapy? Did she have a surgical procedure? When was she originally diagnosed?
I don’t have many of those answers. I did find out she had a double mastectomy, since her mother died of breast cancer also. I know she’s got giving a lot of details. Mainly because she’s attempting to keep some of her life private. I don’t blame her. I am so curious it’s driving me crazy. The people that I’ve known who suffered from cancer, took a very drastic approach. The did chemotherapy and they had surgery. Maybe their case was more extensive than hers.
The one thing I’ve always heard about is the alternative options. I was surprised that Christina Applegate (36) is now changing her eating habits. She says, “immediately made those appointments and immediately called around for … someone to start teaching me how to live macrobiotically.” She was referring to following a healthy diet of fish, grains, beans and vegetables, and avoiding processed foods. Hmmmm… does your diet cure cancer?
I’d like to see her give more insight on why eating macrobiotically helps us against cancer. I’m curious if any of my readers can share some info on this in the comment section.
So I’m sure you’re wondering why I’ve written 2 times on the topic of Christina Applegate & cancer. Well besides having a Hollywood IR fantasy, I’ve am preparing myself for a upcoming charity event. I plan to share more details in the next couple weeks. It should be a fun and exciting event. Stay tuned for more details.

Okay Eathan…you’ve brought up 2 great points. First, though, I have to know…in this fantasy, she strips and there are her scars from her double masectomy. Do you go thru with it or run and hide??? All kidding aside, while some of us may think a double masectomy is a bit radical, based on the patients medical and family history it may be the best option for them. Is it a cure? I don’t think so. My step-mom is a 6 time cancer survivor and she’ll only be 51 this year. Yeah, I know, I’m 45. Go Dad! She found out she had the beginning stages of breast cancer and opted for a double masectomy. Based on her history, it was the best option. She also had a lot of bloodwork done as well as food allergy tests. She has completely changed her way of eating and is healthier than ever. Back in our grandparent’s day, people ate from the earth. They were healthier. Meat didn’t have antibiotics, veggies and fruits didn’t have pesticides, eggs came straight from the chicken and there was no such thing as processed foods. They even rolled their own cigarettes with pure tobacco. Our society is killing itself to get the biggest, prettiest products on the shelves. I highly recommend anyone wanting to improve their diet, check with their doctor first. Different blood types require more of certain types of foods.
Eathan - I’m curious to know if you know my step-mom. She’s very active in most of the local activities revolving around breast cancer. She’s on the news a lot, in the papers and does radio and TV commercials as well.

1st of all… in my fantasy…she strips and I never see any scars. Why? Because she was featured on Dr 90210 to have implants..and reconstructive surgery. Yes they are that good
So there’s no need to run..
I’m going to research the food stuff more.
I’m not sure who your step mom is… I’d have to see a pic..or know the name. I’ve never seen anyone on TV who goes by the name of step mom. haha

I saw her on entertainment tonight last night and she said she was getting a lot of support from her mother, who IS a breast cancer survivor. So unless she died yesterday you might want to check your facts on her being dead.
She had an MRI (very expensive and not usually done routinely unless there are major high risk factors)and the cancer was found quickly in the VERY early stages.
I’m not sure how quick her ordeal was, only that we heard about it such a short time ago. I didn’t hear her announcement so it might be that she was diagnosed a while ago and didn’t choose to tell about it until she had surgery and was “recovering”.
I’m sure the fact that she can have new breasts made to keep men interested is high on her glory hallelujah list of “reasons I’m glad I survived breast cancer”.
