The Interracial Pick Up Artist

I was reading over some of your information and I gotta admit its pretty interesting . I sorta consider myself a beginner student in learning the art of picking up women using others pua techniques (although I've been doing it naturally all my life). I've studied some of David DeAngelos materials, as well as, some of David M's online programs. I've even dabbled in a little of Ross Jefferies works. But I gotta tell you as powerful as some of the education and information is that they teach. I genuinly feel that a greater portion of thier programs (as informative as it is in building a core foundation for self-improvment) it doesn't apply to me. It only seems to educate, strenghten and groom students for same race relations. There is no concentrated focus or education on how to deal with the interracial aspect of dating. And as you know thats a completely different animal all together. There's more components to succeeding in that challenge. Not only are you trying to pick her up, But a large protion of them you have to get to step outside of what they've been breed to know and thats getting them to date outside there race. Its more challenging and requires to be approached form an alternative angle than those other programs are providing.

I'll be frank, I love my sistas, but I'm only really attracted to caucasion and Puerto Rican women. I have NO problem attracting sista's, In fact they seem to throw thenselves at me "ALL THE TIME" but I just swat them away because I'm totally NOT interested. White girls on the other hand don't give that kind of attention to black guys. ( at least not from my experience)
For the most part I've been pretty sucessful with woman and my dating life. I'm a young attractive, suceesful man and as successful as I've been with women over the years ( And I have) I feel like some of the success I've achieved has not been on my terms. Don't get me wrong I can go out and meet them, But its mostly A friends hook it up. Some girl persuing me. An internet dating site or me just approaching someone I KNOW... I can get... (dont get me wrong. Most of the women I've been with have been VERY attractive, great girls. I wouldn't settle for anthing less) But I just feel like I should be able to take more control over my selection ... to target who I "really" want... if I had more knowledge on what works the best (tried and proven) and what to stay away from.

I do have a particular preference of woman who I'd like to suceed with and focus on more, as oppose to who I generally land. I usually land in the " Urban white girl zone. Or the my baby daddy's black and in jail zone" You know the white girls at the club with the ROC-a-Wear or Sean Jean outfit on. And she's there with he 15 black girls she grew up with. You know the type, the one that if she had a genie with 1 wish... it would be to be african american.

Or I seem to land the I never dated black guys before... But " I date black guys NOW... because my kids father is black. So now I dont' see anything wrong with it anymore" and that would be okay, But every chick like that I meet all have the same story. "baby daddy drama." It seems like everythime I meet those woman the only reason they are single is because the "babydaddy" is "in Jail"... Nice.
I perfer the simple "all american" white girl. The one that seems to "only " be breed for the white boys. The one who knows who she is. and is not trying to be somebody else. But, for whatever reason those are the ones "that don't seem to be interested in black guys" unless there's something I'm missing or doing wrong...

I'm definatly interested in finding out if you can offer some new and more refreshing insight on the suject. I'm sure it may be a little more geared towards what I'm interested in and could benifit from as well. Like I mentioned before I've been pretty sucessful in my dating life, But I'd really like to know if there is a more targeted material out there that focuses more on interracial dating. I'd like to know whats works best and what dosen't at all? Is there any Programs out there that teach on this subject. Cd's, Dvd's something. Education is one thing but education that is effectivley targetted towards your specific wants or need... is even better.

I'm with Teacia on the ashy elbows. Because of the angle of the shot, it's one of the first things I noticed.

As a white woman who dates almost exclusively black men, I had no idea there was a different strategy being employed to pick me up. I have been doing more Internet dating lately, though--are you talking dating IRL only or all comers?

Now that you mention it, I have had a lot of commentary about the fabulousness of my booty. I'm a nice hourglass size 8, but this seems to be less than desirable to most white men. Never heard anything remotely like that from a man of color...You've got me thinking: do I subconsciously gravitate towards black men because they make me feel good about my body, or did I always prefer darker men aesthetically?

And my little study has an n=1. Am I generalizing or stereotyping? I think not, when the black men on a variety of dating sites seem to be more accepting of all body types. White men seem to largely want "petite," "slim," or "athletic." Unscientific (and well discussed on other blogs, I know), but that's been my overall impression. I check off "curvy" and get hits mostly from black and Latino men. Thoughts?

There is a different style of strategy. Not totally different..but there are are a different things.

Men of color have a history of accepting different body types than the main stream white males.

Size 8 is a good size... of course that's pending that you're not 4'0" tall..lol

Eathan, I can't stand the show, so I couldn't even begin to handicap the dudes. Although, if they got an Asian guy, I'll lay my money on him depending on the odds I get!

Seriously, though, the show distorts pickup heavily and what it should be. Closer to reality is the show "Keys to the VIP," which you can find clips of on youtube. What I don't understand is, why don't they just follow around a couple of pickup artists in real life and make a show out of that? Filming that progression would be uber-interesting.

An inter-racial PUA show would be great! I think it's pretty irresponsible that they didn't put any brothas on the show, but hey maybe the brothas already have good game.

The Asian guy seems to have the most personality. He rocks an Afro..and he's cool. That's who my money is on too.

The big problem that I have with the show is, they act like there is a special line or story that will make women fall all over you. It's not that way. Life isn't that way. I think coolmomguide said it the best... be confident.. have a good conversation..and share a drink/buy a drink. That's where the fun starts.

You know Eathan, I never thought about the interracial thing. My buddy at work brought it up because he told me he never tries to pick up white women because he doesn't know if they like black men. And asks me how I do it?

Well my answer was that when I go up to talk to women, I don't even think about it. I think of it as a guy talking to a girl. I just assume that they're ok with it so that it never even comes up in my mind.

I've been in relationships with all types of women. I've been with black women, Asian women, Jewish women, Italian women, Irish women and various others. I guess the cool thing is that I have been brought up in a home where being open is the key to success.

So I'm right there with you, E. Let's start a campaign of the interracial pickup artist. There aren't that many of us out there.

Believe me, I feel like I'm the only one in Boston. Which is a great thing because that means I get the most access to women ;)

You've done a good job in being open minded. The main idea is just being able to hold a conversation. There's too many guys who are trying something witty..and that doesn't always work. Being open minded is the key to success.

That is the lamest show I ever saw. Speaking as a hot blonde, none of that garbage would ever work on me. You have the advantage of being attractive, which is what most women look for to start. I wear heels and hot outfits. No extensions and no need for the wonderbra, but still. If these dues are looking to pick up total skanks, maybe that stuff on that show will work, I don't know. In my personal experience, the guy has to be attractive. Not perfect, just have confidence (not cocky), class (not some obnoxious outfit) and needs to be genuine. I don't want to hear an "oh baby baby", I want a normal conversation. Buy me a beer (and a shot). They need to have a woman teach those tards on that show, not some tool.

I agree.. You ARE the hot blonde. I laugh at plenty of the things that are said on the show. I think part of the problem with some of the guys, they don't know how to have normal conversation with a woman. They don't have that confidence to approach women and say hi with out looking like a fool.
