Thanksgiving Eve Karoke

The last few days I’ve gone out more than usual.? Since it was Thanksgiving week most people travel to spend time with their family.? Since being divorced, I spend my holidays with my friends.? So I decided to go 1999out for drinks on Thanksgiving Eve.? There are a few local pubs there are known to be great places to hang out at during the holidays.? Down Under Pub is one of them.

Once I arrived, I met up with one of my friends and bartender, Dusty.? Over the last 8 years Dusty and I always have drinks during the holidays.? Down Under Pub was having karaoke and the talent was like American Idol tryouts.? There was the usual out of tune singers and a very few people that could hold a tune.? My plan was to have a couple drinks and then go home.? It wasn’t long before I met AN22.

AN22 is 22 years old.? She’s 5’3″ tall, long brown hair, brown eyes, great smile and a totally athletic body.? She and I met a few months ago, but never hung out.? We decided to have a couple drinks and toast the holidays.? After talking for a while, we began talking about dating and relationships.? AN22 dated interracially a couple years ago.? She admits that her attraction to him was the friendship they created in the beginning.? I wasn’t surprised by her admission because, she had the type of hips and ass that any black man would notice.? I wonder where I heard that before… Oh yeah, SF26 said the same thing a couple months ago.

AN22 says that most of the white men don’t like her ass, but the black men can’t resist it.? She wanted to know why the white men aren’t attracted to women with curves on their hips.? If anyone has an idea, leave your comments.? I didn’t have the answer.? The obvious thought for me was, that leaves me with less competition.

Dusty, AN22, and I decided to go to another bar around 12am with a group of other people.? We ended up at Two Brothers in Plano.? This is a normal stop for us, because Down Under Pub closes at Midnight.? When we got to Two Brothers, I ran into a lot of other friends.? One of the nicest people I met was the owner and his beautiful wife.? They were stationed at the end of the bar and spent plenty of time talking with everyone that walked in.

The rest of the evening I was meeting new people.? I even had the microphone and sang “Hotel California” with the band.? While hanging out with AN22, I met several other white women in their mid 20′s.? It was crowd of good looking women that loved my energy.? A couple of them had dates and a couple were out with friends.? Before AN22 and I left at closing, two of them asked for my number.? They wanted go out with me with out their date.? I like the fact that they are upfront and not shy.? They see an opportunity and they pursue it.? My night ended with me taking AN22 home.? I was tired and hungry, so I did my usual Jack in the Box drive-thru at 4am.? Damn, I love a hamburger in the middle of the night.

So I have to ask, is it disrespectful for a woman to compete for a guys attention if he’s hanging out with another woman?? Or ss it up to the woman to figure out if they are dating or just friends?
