I gave up going to the bars on New Years Eve along time ago.? I’ve always figured there’s no reason to pay extra money for the same old thing I can get every other night of the year.? I don’t want to pay $20-$80 cover just because it’s New Years Eve.? So as usual, I will welcome the new year with friends.? I’ve had several invitations for New Years Eve.
Dallas has finally got on board with major party planning over the last 1o years.? This year is no different.? There are events staged all over town from Victory Park to private parties.? In the past I’ve had the most fun at private parties.? A couple years ago I was invited to a private party in one of the Dallas upscale burbs.? It was a party in the neighborhood of NFL great Deon Sanders and MLB Torrey Hunter.? It was one of the best parties I’ve been to, from what I remember.? In typical Eathan fashion, I had fireworks and bottle rockets to liven up the neighborhood.? MP43 and everyone else still laugh about it to this day.? It was a great party!
This year I’m planning on another private party.? I’ve checked out the guest list and it seems to be a great group of people.? I’m sure I’ll have a few good stories to tell next week.? I was debating on taking a date, but I’m leaning towards flying solo.? New Year’s Eve is one of the 4 “no date” holidays.
What is a “no date” holiday?? Let me explain how it works.? There are certain holidays that women always look at as a significant point in a relationship.? Those would be Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and Valentines Day.? They may not want to admit this, but it’s true.? If you spend any of those holidays with a date, there’s a 90% that your relationship isn’t a casual one.? I have to admit there are very few women that I could spend those holidays with and it wouldn’t change our relationship.
So as I look back at 2008, I’m ready to start the new year!
It’s been a crazy year when I go back and read the site.? I’ve dealt with SK31 who had self created drama.? I’ve dealt with a couple nightmare internet dates.? (they didn’t look like their pictures)? I also had couple funny sexual encounter that involved a Nuva Ring (it’s funny).? I’ve even dealt with a few pet peeves along the way.? I’ve had some great ones also.? There was KT35, TR37 and even SF26.? 2008 wasn’t all fun and games.? There was the worst sexual experience I can remember with Mormon Girl.? And I can’t think about 2008 with out reflecting on the massive relationship meltdown with LisaQ.
Of course, this weren’t all hot women and wild sex.? There were plenty of parenting issues.? The introduction of Dirt Bike Boy and Alpha Boy were welcomed by all of the parents reading my blog.
As I look forward to 2009, I have a lot of topics to write about.? I’m looking forward to expanding the discussion of interracial dating/relationships.? I’m positive that 2009 won’t disappoint all of you.? I have a few shockers and surprises for everyone.
