Modern Single Momma Contest Winner

I love turning a negative into a positive. ?Today I get the chance to do exactly that. ?A couple weeks ago I started a contest inspired by ModernSingleMomma. When I thought about the potential google hits (sarcastic thoughts), I jumped at the chance to put my creative talents to work. ?In case you don’t know, I am a full time blog consultant.

I am donating the following.

1. ?One year of free web hosting.

2. ?I, aka IDW Publishing, will set up a professional blog for her.

3. ?I ?will donate a premium theme design and customize it for her.

4. ?I will also donate my network of friends to help promote your blog, so she will have plenty of new friends.

So as I promised, I have a winner of my 1st Annual Modern Single Momma Contest. ?Yep, that’s right. ?I plan to do this every year on Mother’s Day.

I read you from time to time – found you through dadshouse and see your comments on other blogs I read here and there (including the drama from the other day).

I?m a single mom of four, 17, 14, 11, and 3 with two ex assholes as their fathers and one is married to my ex best friend. This all makes for ongoing blog material and some of it you would never believe is true but I?m living proof that truth is stranger than fiction.

I?ve been single for 7 years and I?m quite liking it, but yes I do still date.?;)

    While I was typing my entry, my teenage kid asked what I was working on. When I told him, he wanted to hear what I had written. About two-thirds of the way through, he started crying and said, "I can't believe everything you do for me." Best Mother's Day gift I ever got.
