Every now and then Swirl goes bad. In case you don’t know, former NFL Quarterback Steve “Air” McNair died in a major swirl controversy. Even an avid sports fan like myself was shocked to hear the details. McNair was a married 36 yr old black man with 4 children with a 20 yr old Iranian girlfriend.
McNair was found shot in a downtown Memphis condo with his 20 yr old girlfriend dead a few feet away. It appears to be a murder-suicide. At first glance many people have mentioned that he was cheating on his wife. And technically that might be true. But his extremely large and expensive family home was for sale. Which leads one to believe that it’s possible that he and his wife could be planning to divorce. His ex-wife gives no inclination of marriage problems.
But the interesting thing is the 20 yr old Iranian girlfriend was jealous, temperamental and (evidently) psycho. At first I thought, yeah those Iranian women are crazy. But I don’t know any Iranian women. I don’t even have any friends who can validate that claim for me and I couldn’t find anything, via google, that would prove my point. I am a witness to the jealousy and temper of Italian women. I am a witness of a redhead’s temper. And I still have to figure out if Iranian women are known for a specific personality trait.
But the one thing that most white women believe is, black men are players. Yes we can be social. Yes we can play the field. Yes we can play the game. And yes we can be players!
With that being said, how did his Iranian girlfriend miss the memo? Maybe she was mesmerized by his financial status. Maybe she was mesmerized by his fame. Or Maybe McNair had her dickmotized.
The one thing that McNair didn’t factor is the psycho factor. I’m sure when he met her at Dave & Busters he didn’t realize that she would buy a gun and shoot him while he was sleeping. I’m still amazed! I’ve dated jealous women before. And trust me when I tell you they can loose their mind in about 30 seconds. There was one in ’97 that lost her mind and I ended up with a stab wound in my leg. Yes, that’s right. The crazy white girl stabbed me with a knife in my leg.
Did I know she was crazy? Yes, I had a good idea she wasn’t right. But crazy women have good sex. And she did things that only porn stars do. So in some ways I can sympathize with McNair’s situation. But sometimes a guy has to run like Forest Gump.
Has anyone experienced a jealous Iranian woman’s wrath? Was this 20yr old woman just confused on her role in a McNair’s life? Is there such a thing of two cultures not being a good match (players and jealousy) ?
