Lately I’ve had a couple issues with condoms. Not the usual condom problems like most people think of. Not the breaking condom, lost inside her or the can’t get the condom on. It’s something that I haven’t run into before. I’ve met 3 different women who can’t deal with the condoms that I use.
The 1st one is allergic to latex. I’ve heard of women being allergic to latex, but I’ve never met them. She actually warned me ahead of time and suggested what to purchase. It was good to know ahead of time because it gave me time to get prepared. Of course that meant I had to buy some sheep skins. They didn’t fit as well as my regular condoms, Magnums. But they got the job done. I think I should send a letter and suggest they make sheep skins. I’ve always hated when condoms pinched me.
One of the most unique things I’ve found is a woman who is allergic to their lubricant. That seemed to be the biggest shocker. Two different women who have reactions to the lubricant. The strange thing is, I don’t keep unlubricated condoms in my drawer. So in the heat of the moment, standing erect, I went to the bathroom to wash all the lubrication off the condom. My main concern was to get all the lube off. I didn’t want her to have an allergic reaction like Will Smith did in the move Hitch. So instead of coming back to wash another condom in a hour, I decided that I would wash two at the same time. Now I realize sex wasn’t a planned on that night because I would’ve been prepared with non lubricated condoms, but I was horny.
Amazingly it worked. She didn’t have a allergic reaction and swell up like a balloon. I was relieved. It seemed weird to tamper with a condom. Even though I have a vasectomy, it seemed taboo.
The other woman has a major reaction to lubricants. In the occasion that the woman I’m with experiences vaginal dryness during an extended romp in the sheets, I normally use a silicone based lube. This woman insisted in reading the content label on the bottle. After a few minutes of her checking it out, she gave me the big smile of approval. She mentioned that I impressed her by not using the run of the mill KY. I guess it’s rare that a guy would keep a silicone based lubricant.
Are these type of allergies common? Should men keep a variety of condoms? Or is it up to the woman to keep condoms that work with her body?
