It’s official. Summer vacation is over and my kids went back to school today. This year should be a interesting one. Alpha Boy is a freshman in high school. That means he is no longer the big man on the block. Now he gets to start all over to set his social domination (brings back memories of high school). With him being active in sports, the transition should be smooth. After a brief conversation with Alpha Boy’s about his mother, I can already see a couple storms on the horizon. And in typical fashion, I think it will include my lawyers. Ugh!
Dirt Bike Boy is going to a new school this year also. After last years truancy dispute with Frisco ISD, his mother and I decided to move him to a different school district. The last thing I want to do is to continue the same problems with the same school administration. 
Legal Update – It appears that a court hearing will happen in the next few weeks.
Now that school has started, it seems like things are moving in slow motion. Between 2 boys, I’m living football 7 days a week. Practices, scrimmages, games, the Texas Longhorns, and The Dallas Cowboys. The next few months will be exciting.
