Saturday evening I went out with DB42. DB42 is a soon to be divorced mom. She has two kids and lives in my old neighborhood. I didn’t realize it at the time, but she lives a couple blocks from Krazy V and a few minutes from TR37. It’s been some time since we’ve done anything together. It’s been 4 years since our last date.
We decided to meet at Fox Sports Grill at Shops of Legacy. DB42 looked great. She’s 5’4″ tall, dark hair, with a beautiful smile. She was wearing one of the sexiest tops I’ve ever seen her in. It took me 4-5 seconds to look up from her chest. This was a totally different side of her. But it was the side that I wanted to explore.
Originally when we met, I really liked DB42. She’s the type of woman I could pursue a long term relationship with. She’s an attractive brunette. She’s fit, intelligent,socially active and a BV. The only negative thing was her divorce wasn’t final. After a several social excursions, she disappeared off the radar. She didn’t email. She didn’t call. She didn’t text. Poof, she was gone. I was curious why she disappeared, so I looked at her company website. Since she works for the local school district, it wasn’t too hard to find out what happened. Her about page on the school website said she was married with kids. I was a intrigued. So I sent her a brief email to mention that the school needed to update their profile or she got back with her ex. The next day I received an email saying that she and her ex were trying to work things out.
So fast foward back to Saturday night. I had plenty of questions for her. She immediately told me she wanted to appologize. She felt that she had to give her 18 yr marriage one last effort. After 6 months, things were back to the way they were. So she’s kicked him out and the divorce is starting all over again.
DB42 and I left Fox Sports Grill and walked to Taco Diner. We ordered a couple more drinks and kept talking. During our conversation I mentioned to her that my ex, Krazy Vic has a daughter that attends her school. As soon as I mentioned the name, she knew who she was. But that isn’t the only place where our paths take the 7 degrees of separation. I invited her to a Labor Day Pool at a friends home. As soon as I mentioned his first name and where he lived, she said his last name. We both laughed. Evidently my friend’s kids attended her school last year. She immediately declined because she didn’t want to create any local gossip.
After spending a fun filled and relaxing evening with DB42, I hugged and kissed her goodnight. She had to pick up the kids from the ex. Now I have to decide if I want to put for the effort to pursue her again or if I should keep my distance. And the bigger issue is, will there be a conflict when Krazy V finds out there her the daughter’s principle is dating her ex?
