It’s official, I’ve been lazy with keeping IDW updated. I think it’s because I’ve made an effort to keep a few things private. I have mentioned that I dismissed a couple women in my life. It became very clear one night at Dodies, in Allen. I expected to have a quiet evening with friends and enjoy a few drinks. About 1/2 through the evening, CA38 walked by. It became apparent that she wasn’t happy with my presence.
A few days ago, CA38 and I had a few choice words regarding my opinion of her actions. CA38 texted me, “I think I’m having a miscarriage.” My initial response was one of sympathy, but it later changed. After several texts, I asked.. “don’t you live responsible and use some kind of birth control?” She said no. I was a bit shocked.
How and why is a 38 yr old woman, who doesn’t want kids not practice safe sex? It only takes $5 to use condoms, right?
Loading ...As you can imagine, the conversation didn’t end well. And I was ok with that. One thing I promote is taking responsibility for your actions, including birth control.
So when CA38 saw me sitting at a table with 3 other female friends, she wasn’t happy. And to top it off, one of the women at the table was her friend also. Eventually the tension built up and the text messages began to fly. CA38 called me every name in the book and threatened to have me thrown out of Dodies.
As a result, I decided to dismiss the whole group. I’ve even refuse to return to Dodies. Evidently this group of women have some internal strife and jealousy. And Dodies seems to be a center for negative energy. The previous time I’d gone to Dodies, there was a jealousy driven tantrum from TR37.
It was definitely time for a change. Why keep going to the same place and get the same results?

It does sound like you need a change of venue. Even when you’re not looking for drama, sounds like they will be trying to start some.

Why is CA38 texting you “I think I’m having a miscarriage.” If you weren’t the fetus’ daddy, shouldn’t she be calling 911 or a doctor or the emergency room or the dude that knocked her up?
Maybe I missed an earlier post where you mentioned a long serious relationship with CA38, but what do you care what kind of birth control she uses. I agree with you that she’s dumb for not using anything. Someone this idiotic is bound to get pregnant or spread some crotch ripping disease. Run away, run away, run away.
If you like Dodies, don’t let any man or woman drive you from that place, sometimes confrontation is good and shows individuals you won’t/can’t be F’d with.

Good question.. probably because I’ve always treated her as a friend not a b/c. Why do I care? Cause people will make stupid choices and find themself in a strange situation.
And Dodies isn’t that great of a place.. so no luv lost if I never go there again..
