Saturday With EJ32

Going into the weekend, I didn’t make any plans. I decided to finally make an effort to meet someone that I’ve been texting/chatting with for the last couple weeks, EJ32. Initially our connection was made online. Since the weather was beautiful on Saturday, I offered to meet her for lunch. We agreed to meet at Pot Belly for a casual lunch.

I arrived a bit early and had the chance to sit on the patio while I waited for EJ32 to arrive. As soon as she walked up, we hugged. EJ32 is 5’4″, blue eyes, auburn hair. We talked over lunch for the next hour or so. I didn’t get the impression that she and I would be anything more than friends. And when we walked out the door to say good-bye, she gave me the one arm shoulder hug.

Later that evening I had a Happy Hour date that ended early. So I decided to hit a couple of my favorite local pubs. On the way to my 2nd pub, I got a text from EJ32. She was at Loft 610 with friends. It’s been a while since I’ve gone to 610, so I stopped by to have a couple drinks. As soon as I ordered my Grey Goose on the rocks from one of my bartender friends, EJ32 walked up to me. This time her vibe was totally different. It went from being a very formal style to a social butterfly. I guess she could blame it on the alcohol. Either way, I wasn’t complaining.

For the next couple hours we had drinks, danced and talked. This was a 180 degree turn from earlier. She mentioned that she was a bit nervous and didn’t feel any chemistry. But that changed quickly. All of her friends and I hit it off. This group of her friends had several Swirl couples. By the 1am she was ready to go home, but wasn’t in a position to drive. So I drove her. The after party started with a suggestion of us snuggling on the sofa and it ended up with me going home 36 hours later. We decided to order delivery and watch movies all day. Of course there was plenty of quality sex. Since we’re both work-a-holics, it’s strange that our 1st sexual encounter would end up being longer than expected.

It’s shocking to know that our relationship progressed so quickly in short period of time. From our interaction at lunch, I would never guess that we would spend most of the weekend together.
