Saturday I spent part the afternoon working out at Lifetime Fitness. Lifetime is one of those health clubs that is targeted towards family health. Most of the gyms only have programs aimed at adults. Lifetime has a lot of kids activities and summer camps. So you can imagine how many kids are running out the certain parts of the gym. I was sitting in one of the lounges, and I noticed two children playing. There was a little boy showing a little girl a lot of attention. He was helping her with all of her snacks and toys. Every time she dropped something he would pick it up. And of course, she was soaking this attention up. Years later, life is basically the same. Women love attention. Women soak up attention like it’s a golden sun ray.

Last night was a busy, but relaxing evening. One of my good friends was in Dallas on a business trip. So I hung out with him at the Grand Hyatt between business meetings. It was one of those places where you get to see people from all over the world sit around and socialize. I must say the European woman still has a definite advantage over the American woman for me. It had all the makings of a great evening if I was able to stay longer. Oh well. After a couple hours I had to meet LJ36 at Boston’s to watch a Texas A & M softball game. It’s always great to see her. She’s so relaxed and comfortable in her own skin. It was one of those times where you can just sit down with someone for dinner and relax.

I waited a couple days to post this because my thoughts were not clear enough to write. Thursday evening I had dinner with MC31. She text me and wanted me to join her for sushi at Fujiyama. After our last experience there, she wanted to go back. We agreed to meet after work, 530pm. That worked out well, I was having a stressful work week and I needed the break. She and I greeted with a hug. I order my usual Volcano Roll and she ordered the Dallas Stars Roll.
Absolutely, positively delicious! I haven’t seen her for almost 2 weeks. I’d been sick for a few days and then with work I was out of the loop. During our conversation I she revealed to me that she decided to pursue a relationship with a long time friend. I wasn’t shocked. As everyone knows, I don’t engage in the chase. I know she wanted to be pursued and that’s not one of my habits.

Sex in the City is one of the best HBO dramas of all time. Of course, that’s my opinion. It’s comes second only because the Soprano’s is #1 on my list. After years of speculation and waiting the movie is finally here. Just watching the commercials for the movie reminds me of why I watched this show. Well when you have a show that involves 2 of my 3 addictions, I start to wonder if I need rehab.

Saturday didn’t go according to my planned schedule. Actually my whole weekend plan was turned upside down by a miscommunication with one of my kids. So I actually had a kid free weekend. Saturday afternoon I was eating a mid-day breakfast at Cafe Brazil with Nigel. I received a text from LJ36 for a concert invite. The concert was Steven Marley, the son of the great reggae legend Bob Marley.

Saturday night was lots of fun. I went to Cape Buffalo to watch the Dallas Stars vs Detroit Red Wings hockey game. Nigel decided to drive from Las Colinas to hang out for a while. We caught up on the weeks activities and dates. We decided to leave when the game was over and go to Houston’s. It was around 930 when we got there, it wasn’t busy. Houston’s is one of my favorite places to eat and have a glass of Merlot.
