It’s official, KT35 is suffering from SMS (soccer mom syndrome). She has all the signs and symptoms. I haven’t seen her much. We talk on the phone every couple days. Our recent conversations have been about how busy and tired she’s been. It seems as if things are changing rapidly. Actually, it’s been almost 2 weeks since our last date. Since starting her new job at the local school district, she has been unavailable. It’s been very hectic for her. KT35 has a full day of work and then she’s involved with one of the athletic teams. Her work day starts at 730AM and doesn’t finish until 6pm. She also has her own children active in sports. They have practice at least 3 evenings after work and then games on the weekend. So by the time she gets home, she’s exhausted. Our pattern has changed. We talk on the phone for a few minutes every couple days. And then the cycle repeats.

I’m totally shocked! It was almost 2 weeks ago when Christina Applegate made the announcement that she was diagnosed with breast cancer, aka my arch Nemesis. I know I reflected on her previous acting on like Married with Children. But I was once again surprised to hear her most recent announcement. She’s cancer free. She says 100% cancer free. Damn! That was quick or so it seems. My arch Nemesis has been defeated. I’m just thankful that she will have a new set of beautiful breasts.

I’m very excited to make this announcement. IDW now has a custom apparel line. That’s right. IDW has a Official Logo that is on select clothing and novelty items. You can get the the Official IDW Logo on everything from T-Shirts, Hats, Cups & even Thongs. I have been working hard on a logo design that reflects Interracial Relationships & IDW. After some market research, IDW has a design that is fashionable, but also discreet, in case you want to wear them to a political rally. ha ha You will notice that it combines the Chinese symbol of yin-yang with the male/female symbols. I have watermarked this sample image of the logo, but the logo shows nicely on all the products

For years I’ve heard about Europe from my friends. I’ve always been told it’s such a open minded culture. I think I might have to explore that option soon. I’ve been told by several people that interracial relationships thrive in the European cultures. From what I’ve heard, traveling from country to country is similar to traveling from state to state. I can only imagine being in the UK and riding a train for a couple hours and be in a totally different country. A country with totally different social views. It has to be amazing. I recently found out that Great Brittan has the highest number of interracial couples in the world. I began to wonder why. So I found a this video to give me some insight. Yesterday I had some free time to do something very rare. I met a reader for dinner. I know that I said I’d never do that again, but it wasn’t exactly a date. SN31 and I met initially through myspace. I was networking, as I normally do, and she wanted to know if I knew her. Of course I responded, “I want to know you”. We’ve been messaging back and forth for several weeks. Eventually we decided to talk on the phone and eventually meet. We planned several times to go out for drinks or play pool, but it never worked out. So finally we found a evening that worked out for both of us. We both were hungry and met at Texas Roadhouse. That was a good choice to eat and have drinks.

Yesterday it wasn’t too hot in Dallas. It was actually a bit cooler than it has been. It was down to a mere 99 degrees. After spending most of the day inside watching movies with my kids, we decided to go swimming. KT35 and I had been messaging most of the day, so I invited her to join me poolside. I figured that would be a good way to introduce a new face amidst all the other people at the pool. She thought that would be a great idea and accepted my invitation. I thought we would be at the pool for a few hours, but after a hour the kids attention shifted to playing video games. By the time KT35 arrived we were inside. The boys were playing video games and I was cooking. I walked outside to meet her. I gave her a kiss and a hug. I walked her inside and introduced her to the kids. In normal boy fashion, they barely even raised their heads up from the big screen. Of course, I made them stop the game to speak and say hi. KT35 and I laughed, because this is totally different from her kids. Mine stay focused on games and hers pay close attention to their company. Just typical for my boys. They want to know is this going to affect me playing football this season or does this mean I can’t play XBox 360?

Last night was date night. It was the night that KT35 and I planned to go out on a date. Normally my dates consist of inviting her over, drinking wine, and watching a movie. Yes, it was something different from what I normally do on my dates. We both wanted to go check out Dark Knight. KT35 came by my place to pick me up. She immediately gave me a kiss when I got into the car. That is when I realized it’s been 2 weeks since we’ve kissed. Wow, it seems like it’s been forever. She was wearing denim shorts, a nice tank top and Chuck Taylor shoes. She looked cute as ever. One look at those legs and I knew I would be touching them during the movie. The theater is only a couple miles away and we talked the whole way there. She was telling me all about her new job and new co-workers. Even though we talk every day it’s not the same as talking in person. She spend most of the time driving and trying to keep eye contact with me. I spent most of the time riding shot gun and watching the road, since she wasn’t.
