I’m always comparing my teenage years to those of my son Alpha Boy.? I’ve gone through all the list of things that I remember.? I always think of girls and sex being the biggest topic of discussion.? It’s not.? The reason is, when talking about sex it requires another willing person.? Do I think he can talk his way into a girl friend and/or sex?? I have no doubt that he could.? But I’ve prepared him for that.? The other thing that I think about is drinking.? I remember being in high school.? Friday night after the football game everyone would go to a party and drink beer.? It was the cool thing to do.? Or so most of the kids thought.? I never liked beer, so I didn’t get caught up in any of the beer drinking.? It was my senior year of high school when I had my first Crown & coke.? Wow.? That was some drink.? I never gave it much thought because my parents would drink a cocktail from time to time.

Saturday Night In Addison

Saturday night SF26 and I decided to go out.? She wanted to go dancing and I wanted to listen to a live band.? I figured that finding one of my favorite bands would be a good choice for the night.? The only problem was, those bands were booked for private parties.? So I had to venture out on uncharted ground.? I decided to take her to Memphis in Addison.? Usually the weekend bands are popular and play good music.? SF26 and I met around 10pm at the bar.? She walked in wearing a short dress and heels.? It was the kind of dress that makes other women begin to hate.? We were at the bar having drinks when I met two other couples and began to have fun.? SF26 and I were talking about the Cajun food that everyone was eating.? It smelled so good.? I have to admit, i wanted to order a big bowl of gumbo to start the night.? After a couple drinks one of the couples, Rob (40) and Crystal (33) decided to go with us to listen to the band.
