As I watch President Obama’s speech in front of the joint session of Congress, I think about January 20, 2009. ?It’s a day I will never forget. ?A historic, thrilling, exciting festive day. ?A day that overwhelmed me with happiness, inspired me and renewed my faith that a black man in America has as many opportunities to succeed as a white man. ?As I watched millions of people come together in peaceful unity to praise and support our new President, Barack Obama, I knew change had arrived.

IDW Reader Gives Birth

With over 2 million biracial children in the United States, I’m happy to add one more to the list.? One of my regular and long time readers gave birth to, Isabella LeAnne Moore.? Reta Pearl gave birth on November 6.? Isabella was 5lbs 9ozs.? I have to admit that Isabella looks like her mother.? From the conversations with Reta, Isabella’s grandparents have embraced her and give her plenty of love.? It’s not surprising to know that birth of a beautiful grand child will bridge social gaps that others weren’t able to do previously. Read More…
