dating

I have a diverse dating resume.  I have never limited myself to only dating my own race.  I have dated white men, black men, and Hispanic men.  My ideal man is tall, dark, and handsome though.  I love the smooth chocolate velvetiness of a black man’s skin and their physique.  Regardless of skin color, I am attracted to a confident man with a wicked sense of humor.

Back in 1990 I was stationed at Ft Carson, Co. Me and two friends, both black had left the club and were in line at Denny’s which was right off of Academy Blvd. All three of us were Soldiers so we had jobs, money, cars, etc etc. Now as we were in line, I noticed there were two black females to our rear and two white females to our front. Well one of my boys made an attempt to holler at the two black girls. He was soon followed by my other partner. They spent a good 10 minutes or so cracking jokes trying their hardest. But the girls just weren’t having it and after several failed attempts they gave up.

by Ashlee Feldman

A few days ago Dr. Laura was in the news for her racial rant on the radio.  The caller wanted to know how to deal with racial comments from her husbands friends and family.  And even thought Dr. Laura didn’t address the callers question, it created a lot of conversation regarding racism. Women always ask me where they should go to meet black men.  It varies and depends on the type of man you’re trying to attract.  It also depends on where you live.   Every area is different.  I’ve come up with a list of the Under Rated Places to Meet Black Men.   This could [...]

The War Between Black Women and White Women

by Jenni

I can’t tell you how many times I have heard that the white women are “taking the only good black men we have.”  It was like it was my fault that a black man with an education or an ambition was interested in me.  And trust me not every black guy that was interested in [...]

Does Strange Hair Equal Random Hook-ups?

by Eathan

I’ve said previously, a lot of white women don’t trust black men.  And maybe this is a prime example of this, but as the discussion of monogamy heats up with AD33 something interesting happened.   One evening AD33 came over to hang out and watch movies.  We went out for dinner and drinks.  I don’t remember exactly [...]

I Discovered Black Men In My 40′s

by Jennifer L.S. Pearsall

As I made it out of my gawky high school years, muddled through most of college and trundled into adulthood, I never gave the idea of dating outside my race a second thought. Not once. Not ever. I dated almost not at all through high school (pretty, but too band-geeky nerdy), slept around my fair [...]

Exploring Dating Diversity In Your 40′s

by JYD

I have learned a lot about dating in the year I have been single; especially dating online. I have found it interesting how many white women, after a divorce consider dating out of their race.  Many have messaged me and asked if I dated white women. I usually laugh or give them a hard time [...]

Everyone Thought I Only Date Black Men

by Jenni

I am a white girl from the suburbs that dressed just like everyone else and didn’t think I stood out at all.  Well somehow I stood out but I didn’t stand out to everyone, just black men.  My first 2 serious relationships in high school were both with black men.  And for some reason everyone [...]

Racism At Church – Guest Post

by Jenni

I went to college in Upstate New York at Syracuse University.  It was a huge diverse student population in a city with a large minority population.  Neither of which bothered me.  I am a half Italian and half Portuguese girl that never felt different or threatened by different types of people.  While in school I [...]
