Normally I don’t get drunk.  And normally don’t drunk text.  But Thanksgiving this year I did both.  Since I allow my kids to spend the holidays with their mom, I usually spend the day watching football.  This year was no different.  I woke up late and went to Fox Sports Grille for a turkey lunch.

Divorce And Holidays

The holidays can be one of the most stressful times of the year.? It’s very stressful for many divorced parents.? Usually divorced parents take turns with the kids every year.? One year you have the kids and next year you don’t.? Here in Texas, normal divorces allow you to have your kids every other Thanksgiving and? half of the Christmas holidays.? That may be the fairest thing for everyone involved, but it’s not the easiest.? That means it’s tough to travel for family holidays.? It means that you have to coordinate the weeks events around the dreadful kid-swap.

Happy Thanksgiving

Another year of most celebrated and documented interracial dinner has arrived. The Pilgrims and American Indians started this tradition in 1621 and we still continue the tradition 387 years later. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite meals of the year. No matter where you’re from, you are encouraged to enjoy the traditional meal with Turkey, dressing, pumpkin pie and much more. So I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
